Product Description
SpaGuts brand Universal Inline Bath Heater Kit, 650W 110V with Piggy Back Style Plug. This is the 7.0 x 1.5 inch in-line style bathtub heater with Pressure Switch to be installed on the pressure end of your bathtub pump. This bath heater includes a Special Piggy Back style plug that provides an additional 110V plug-in outlet for up to a 1.5HP 9.5A 110V bath pump. This allows the bath heater to run together with a bath pump on a 15A 110 GFCI circuit. (Piggy Back Plug is approximately 2.75" long, from the pins) This bath heater is normally meant for use on 1.5 inch plumbing, but can also be used on 1.0 inch and 0.75 inch plumbing when using the fittings that are provided. Inside diameter is approximately 2.375 inch for the black heater split nuts. This bath heater is meant for installation on the pressure side of your BATHTUB PUMP, which has a built-in pressure switch. To install this bathtub heater on the suction side of your bathtub pump. The Pressure Switch model bath heater is also a replacement option for the following model numbers: SG101-65UP, PH101-65UP, DT100, C3J83P1-D01EJUZ. This bath heater is also a replacement option for the following brand bath heaters: American Standard, Safe-T-Heater, Hydro-Quip Compact Series Whirlpool Bath Heater, Jacuzzi Rapid Heat, Pure Heat. The use of a SpaGuts brand bath heater helps to eliminate the rapid cooling that occurs during the operation of your whirlpool bath, providing you a continuous source of hot water and extending the pleasure of your jetted bath experience. This bath heater is normally for use in jetted bathtubs up to 70 gallons. For more information, please see Installation Instructions in the installation tab above. For larger bathtubs and specific heater size requirements, refer to your jetted bathtub manufacturer for their recommendation. NOTE: This bath heater is designed to maintain the current bath water temperature in the tub, and is not meant to heat water from cold to hot.
